Who we are
Pacific Blue Sports was founded in 2004 after Anthony Broadhead recognised a need to supply premium underwater products that better suited New Zealand conditions.
History
Ant Broadhead, founder and managing director of PBS, was a dive instructor in NZ for 10 years diving in both the North and South Islands. It was during this time that he found there was a lack of products to suit New Zealand's topography, water temperature and visitibility. This lead to Ant's decision to bring premium quality dive brand Beuchat to the NZ market.
Today
PBS now has exclusive distribution of 6 premium sports brands, and has added three staff members to the PBS team. Ant continues to travel around New Zealand visiting retailers and remains a passionate member of the diving and spearfishing communities.
